How to start homeschooling in Ohio
The notice gives the parent's name and address, the child's name and a promise to teach six core subjects, and it is due within five days of starting and again each August 30. State law sets no testing, hours or teacher qualification rules for home education, and the exemption takes effect as soon as the superintendent receives the notice.
